The international Paralympic family has suffered a profound loss with the passing of a devoted individual who dedicated the greater part of his life to the international Paralympic movement.
We have lost not only a respected professional, but also a valued colleague and a dear friend — above all, a remarkable human being.
I extend my deepest condolences to Sharmin’s family, loved ones, and to the entire Paralympic community during this difficult time.
