Tribute to Charmaine Hooper

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of the sudden passing of Charmaine. I have known Charmaine for many years from my time as an athlete and, subsequently, as a coach and she was always so warm, friendly and inspiring. Her legacy will live on, in Para Sport for many years and she will be a great loss, not just to Para Sport, but to sport in general. On behalf of all at Irish Wheelchair Association Sport I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Charmaine’s family, friends, and all her colleagues at World Abilitysport. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this incredibly difficult time. May she Rest in Peace.
