Tribute to Charmaine Hooper

As we, the NPC of the Netherlands, are still struggeling to comprehend this loss, we find ourselves reflecting not only on her extraordinary professional impact but also on the warmth, openness, and genuine humanity she brought to every interaction. Over the years, we were fortunate to enjoy a close and collegial relationship with Charmaine—a relationship that deepened our mutual respect and strengthened our connection within the international Para sport community. Our most recent conversations with her, during our time together in Seoul, once again reminded us of her sincere interest in people, her generosity of spirit, and the ease with which she made everyone around her feel valued. She will be missed by many.
